Thanks for all the helpful posts on gear. As for the Groove Tube, is that all you use for an amp? Do you use some sort of cab for the bass player to hear? Thanks.
@David – that is all we use. We have in ear monitor systems, and the bassist gets enough of himself through that.
Do you (of the FOH guys) put any compression on your bass? If so, what kind?

@Alex – yes we do use compression. They don’t ever smash it or anything, just enough to keep the playing consistent. Not sure what kind specifically…
